Also for your pleasure a special 'cheat' allowing you to test all our weapons at once (Of course this
will only work in an offline game.):
"mutate IwantPower"
More specials can be found on a daily base, by opening up the mutator menu from the Unreal4Ever mutator
and selecting the U4E news tab! You might just get an exclusive Easteregg that way :)
Capture Console:
This weapon has a lot of features, which cause an advance interface. You will need all your mouse buttons
to use it, but you wont need to bind any additional keys.
Here are the basic actions and the way you should do them:
Switch chambers
Hold down the right button and scroll
Merge monster
Hold down the right button and switch to a chamber, press the left button to select it. The chamber should become red. Then select another chamber and select it. The weapon will inform you when the types are not compatible. Release the button to merge, deselect a chamber, or select a 3rd chamber to cancel the merge Delete a monster
Hold down the right button and select a chamber. The press the left mouse button once to select, once more to deselect, (a confirm should pop-up now) then delete it with your mouse button
Capture or Recall a monster
Hold down primary fire on the monster (you should have a red beam), when the monster is weak enough you will capture it (if you got an empty chamber selected)
Deploy a monster
Aim your beam at an enemy player. The select monster will spawn behind you. Note this is only possible in the second round.
Round 1
The 1st capture round is indicated with the Black star in the top-middle. In this round there will be enough
monsters for everybody to capture. Also you can not lose lives in this round. Nor can you attack an enemy.
After 3 or 4 minutes you switch to round 2.
Round 2
The 2nd capture round is indicated with the Red star in the top-middle. In this round you got 1 life, if you die
your out. There are no longer random monsters, only other players can launch there monsters to come and kill you.
Use the monsters you captured in round 1 to defend yourselves and kill your enemies. Last man standing wins.
CHI’s and Merging
There are 8 CHI’s all with there own color. In the star in the top-middle you have a quick reference throughout the
game. The more dots are between 2 colors, the more effective it will be for the attacker or defender. Red vs. Blue
for example are on opposite sites. So a monster with a Blue Attack CHI can attack a monster with a Red defense chi
and deal 100% damage, while the opposite, would result in 0% damage. If you want to make your monster more defense
or offence, you can merge it with another of its own kind. Note that merging opposite types will result in a bad
merge and kill both. In the HUD CHI on the left is the attack CHI and on the right the Defense Chi. When merging
the attack CHI of the first selected is combined with the defense CHI of the second.
Here's a guide for bCTF and the ConstructionGun (or for short Congun).
Construction Gun
With the constructiongun you can build constructions.
Constructing
To build you must press and hold the primairy-fire button while aiming at the construction you're building. While
building you can see your progressbar on the right side of the screen been filling up. If you stop constructing a
construction while the construction isn't fully build, the construction will deconstruct itself and being destroyed
in a certain amount of time.
Selecting a construction to construct
To select a construction you must push your next-weapon and previous-weapon buttons while holding your alternative-fire
button. This way you can scroll through the constructions you can make. There are different modes of the ConGun, the
icons of the modes are displayed on the left side of the congun's screen. To select another mode you must press
alternative-fire button. The modes are construct and deconstruct (in the future there will be a rotate mode).
Creating a Hazard Platform
To create a Hazard Platform, select it on the ConGun's menu. Fire 2 or more Flame Markers at the different points you wish the Platform to travel between. Bare in mind that these markers will disappear after about 10 seconds. When you have the markers in place, Tap Alt-Fire to spawn the Platform and it will hover between those points. To inflict damage, make sure the bottom of the platform hits the enemy. The top does no damage!
Using a Teleport
After placing 2 or more teleports, stand on top of the teleport and wait. The teleporter will automatically teleport you to the next teleporter in the chain of teleports you created.
NOTE, only in Build CTF, Teleporters require a Power Generator to function.
Powered constructions (non-Build CTF Games only)
There are some constructions that need to be powered.
The PowerGenerator generates power for powered constructions. The powered constructions will work in a certain range
around the powergenerator.
The constructions that need power are:
Jumppad, Light, Teleporter.
PowerGenerator-Controlling constructions
There are some constructions that will enable/disable the powergenerator.
There are at the moment two constructions that will do that: The button and the TripWire.
You can use the button by standing against it and press the Use key (U or E), this will disable/enable the
powergenerators in a certain range around it.
The tripwire will disable the powergenetator when someone steps into the tripwire's beam, when you step out of the
beam, the powergenerator will be enabled again.
Build CTF
The meaning of build CTF is that you and your team can defend your CTF-base by making constructions to make it
harder for the opposing team to capture your flag.
There are 2 rounds in bCTF each game, the first round is called "Build-round" the second "CTF-round".
Round 1
Build-round
In this round you must build your base to defend it. Maybe your thinking right now: I'll just build around my
flag so that no-one can touch it! But you must be aware while building that you must also return the opposing-team's
flag to your own flag without using the translocator. Make it as easy as possible for your own team to return the
flag and as hard for the opposing team. So don't seal off all entrances
Round 2
Capture the flag
Capture the flag from the other team, normal CTF rules apply.
