Extended description:
--------------------
"Dj Vu - Gryphon Revisited" is the UnrealSP.Org Anniversary Map Pack. A month before our two-year anniversary, we set out to build a large SP saga in four weeks - and released the much improved v2.0 a year later. The sixteen maps herein represent the successful culmination of the efforts of a team that was composed not only of experienced mappers but mapping novices too, who were still seasoned and valued members of the Unreal community.
"Dj Vu - Gryphon Revisited" takes you back to the mystical planet of the Nali people. The story, which follows, sees you crash-land on the planet's surface after a retrieval mission goes wrong. You will face familiar threats with a familiar arsenal in your hands, but the locations and hazards will be unfamiliar to you.

Story
-----

J. Brie, Personal Log, June 21st 2253, 11:14 hours.

Gryphon theyre sending me back to Gryphon. One visit to that damned planet was enough. I said as much to Commander Pearson, but he was having none of it. This is a very important mission to Inuit, he said. As a survivor of the ISV-Kran, your experience of the planetary environment and hazards makes you the only man for the job. Yeah, great Ive escaped from that hellhole once before, so now I get to go back. Hardly seems fair, but Inuits intelligence insists that the Skaarj are no longer in operation on the planets surface. I sure hope so

June 21st 2253, 16:23 hours.

My ETA puts me in Gryphons orbit in twelve minutes. Once I reach the landing site, I am to set down and travel to the retrieval point with minimal interaction with the Nali people. Commander Pearson was very clear on that fact I guess he doesnt want the liability of them knowing about my mission. When I have the artefact, I am to return to my scout ship without delay, and return to Inuit sector control.
Wait what was that? A blip on my scanner but its gone now. Id swear something was there; I sure hope Im not being followed.

June 21st 2253, 16:25 hours.

Bastards! Theres a Skaarj ship on my tail. Theyre gaining on me theyll be in firing range soon. Id better enter combat readiness mode.

June 21st 2253, 16:27 hours.

Im under heavy fire *crackle* shields holding, but those damn Skaarj wont let me go, and my weapons are no match for theirs.

June 21st 2253, 16:29 hours.

SHIT! They fired some weird energy torpedo blasted a hole right through my aft shields *crackle*. Id better head to the escape pods; my ship cant take much more of this. The missions a bust I cant risk the Skaarj finding out the location of the Merc weapon; If I let it fall into enemy hands, Inuit will have me crucified *crackle* Now, I just have to rescue my own ass

*End of File*

Technical Notes
---------------

Due to the time pressure involved in the making of the original release of this pack, some maps were shorter than planned, TechnoJF's map was cut altogether and exchanged for a placeholder, and there were several bugs in the maps, especially in coop mode. We have attempted to remedy this in v2.0 with a much greater level of in-house testing (including coop). The following issues remain outstanding:

-A bug discovered late in the day: scrolling text on the intro may drop off the screen at lower resolutions. We recommend playing Dj Vu at 1024x768 or greater.

-There are occasional framerate issues on some maps. These will cause problems with playability for users of older machines (1GHz or less), but occur due to the open-plan or high-poly nature of these maps and cannot easily be fixed. We have tackled this issue since v1.01 where possible.

-Oldskool Amp'd sometimes causes extremely long load times for maps and saved games. If your game appears to have crashed during load, please be patient. The game will most likely resume within a few minutes.

-Due to a bug in UT / Oldskool, the difficulty setting is not passed correctly from the menu to a new Coop game. Once the server is running, solve this by logging in as server administrator and entering "admin switchlevel USP-01-Hellscrag?difficulty=X", where X is a difficulty setting from 0 to 3. We recommend 3, for Unreal Skill, to give the players more to do. For your reference, the gametypes used by Deja Vu are USP-DejaScripts.USPSinglePlayer and USP-DejaScripts.USPCoopgame.

No other bugs are known at this time.
