Author Notes
------------

Before entering these worlds please leave any notion of what a typical UT CTF map should look like at the door. It'll still be there when you get back!
There are 2 maps in this zip. CTF-TheEye and CTF-TheEye][.
After the monstrosity that was CTF-TrainYard, I decided to make a somewhat smaller map. This turned out to be TheEye. Too small? Perhaps, but it's made for 8 players max and will give you a very fast game.
I liked the look of the map so decided to expand on it and so TheEye][ was born (8 to 16 players)......eventually (prolific I'm not.)
So you now have 2 maps for the price of one. Ain't I good to you? ;-)

	So what are these maps?
	Gimmicky? Maybe.
	Different? Definitely.
	L337? Nah, no crates.
	Fun? I hope so.

If you're looking for a believable, true-to-life map with flat, white lighting and exclusive use of the UTTech texture pack you're going to be disappointed. I think I've just about avoided ghey disco lighting tho ;-)
I don't want to give too much away, just play and have fun.
I warn you now, the middle section in TheEye][ can get high, up to 275polys.

I've included the readme.txt file that came with the .u file as I think it's a great add-on and the author fully deserves the credit for writing it. It adds support for more than 1 skybox in a UT map.

Whilst building this map, I came across some problems with using bots with kickers. There's a known UT AI bug.
What this means is that the bots hit the kicker and, instead of being propelled forward, they fly straight up then land again on the kicker and are then propelled in the right direction. It's a documented problem and I've no way of really fixing it. Having said that, it's not a major problem and the bots still play the levels very well.

Hope you enjoy it.

Update for CTF=TheEye][
------

The bots are about as good as they're gonna get. Hell, they rock :) They'll take all routes too and from the flags and will also now goto the sniper rifles and camp. The jumppad problem is still there but, like I said, I can't do anything about that.
Occlusion times are very high as are polycounts while you're exiting the teleporters into the middle section. Sorry, but you're gonna have to have a decent spec PC to run this map well. :/
