Construction Time       : About 3 months. But with times where I did not work on it at all.


About the map
-------------

I starte work on this map with no ideas, no images, no visions what so ever. I opened UnrealEd one 
day and subtracted a cube and than just kind of made the layout. My lack of planning is probobly 
visible in the map as there are same brushes repeated many times. I had no idea about texturing
eather which is why the texturing is relatively boring and poor. 
I did get some idea about lighting somewhat later on in the project. Although you can see it has 
been somewhat rushed. I tried to make it look like the sun is shining through the openings to give 
the map somewhat of an open feeling since appart from some places like the flag rooms and middle is
narow. 

I am not at all sattisfied with this map. I had worked on it for way too long and it's filesize is
23 MBs which is just horrible. I had imported 5 textures into MyLevel, the rest is default UT files.
The filesize came from the ammount of complex brushes I have put into the level and the overall
size of the level. It is quite a big map. Compile process (Rebuild All) took at the end around 40 
minutes and I had to reduce the first of the two sliders in the Rebuild Options to 0 as otherwise
the map contained too many nodes for the UED to rebuild. It was painfull discovering that the limit
is 65535 nodes. I had to delete a lot of detail which is why the rooms now have flat walls... 

Hopefully you will like the layout. It has many routes you can choose from and there are many 
possibilities to change the routes along the way. The flag will be somewhat hard to deffend though.
There are no powerfull deffending spots. I made that for a reason; all the PlayerSpawns are in the
flag rooms and it will be quite difficult getting away with the flag. Also part of the reason is to 
try and eliminate flag camping.

I hope you will like the level. Feedback, including crytisism is welcome to my eMail adress or my 
MSN, as long as there is a suggestion on how to improve something included. I do not like negative 
feedback in form of: "This map sux a**!" Do not send emails to my MSN though, I will not receve them.


Installation
------------
Unzip the .unr file into your UnrealTournament\Maps folder and you're ready to go.
