I. General Information
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Title: IronW00t
Filename: CTF-IronW00t.zip
Author: Joe 'Ironblayde' Farrell
Contact: Via PM at forums.beyondunreal.com or forums.unrealplayground.com
Release Date: 25 April 2006
Last Update: 25 April 2006
Version: 1.0
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

II. Play Information
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Game: Unreal Tournament
Game Type: Capture the Flag
Single Player: Yes (botmatch)
Multiplayer: Yes
Player Load: 8-12
Weapons Used: All standard weapons (no Redeemers)
Powerups: Thigh Pads, Body Armor, UDamage
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

III. Build Information
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Base: New level (but inspired by SabbathCat's Extreme w00t Pack)
Build Time: Ten days, plus another week or so for beta testing and
                subsequent adjustments
Tools Used: UnrealEd 2, Photoshop 7
Known issues: Some BSP holes still exist, but they're typically not very
noticeable unless you're looking for them. Also, BlockPlayers
don't seem to be 100% effective in keeping players from getting
on top of the buildings, so I have instituted the Trigger of
                Doom as a backup measure.
My other maps: CTF-Stax, CTF-Susurrous, CTF-Axia

IV. Author's Notes
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is my entry for SabbathCat's Extreme w00t Mapping Challenge. In keeping
with the w00tabulous theme, this map is loaded with jump pads, lots of pickups,
and heavily saturated team-colored lighting, but as you can see from the
screenshots, the layout is considerably more complicated than the original
CTF-w00tabulous. It's still extremely easy to learn, though, and I hope that
people will find it fun to play.

V. Credits
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Map: Joe 'Ironblayde' Farrell
Scripting: Roman 'Switch' Dzieciol (swJumpPad)
Textures: The majority of the textures come from the HourPitores_UT pack
by Sjoerd 'Hourences' De Jong, and most of the rest are from the
Atropos pack by Andy 'Chrysaor' Monroe. The full packs are
                available here:

                HourPitores_UT
                http://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/map_hub.php?mid=8479

                Atropos
                http://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/map_hub.php?mid=8572

Textures in other subgroups bearing the prefixes "HRP-" or
"ATR-" are also from these packs but have been modified to suit
                my purposes.

Finally, the blue arrows on the jump pads were provided by
SabbathCat as part of the challenge.

VI. Special Thanks
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sincere thanks go out to:

SabbathCat for running the challenge, and for providing inspiration with his
excellent Extreme w00t pack.

Switch for his excellent swJumpPad actor, which makes it a hell of a lot easier
to get bots using jump pads.

Hourences for his texture pack. Hopefully he's not too upset over having his
beautiful work plastered onto a w00t map. :)

Chrysaor for his Atropos textures, and for agreeing to let me stick them in
MyLevel even though he prefers having the pack distributed intact. Go download
CTF-Atropos, people!

Derdak2rot, TexasGtar, Fragnbrag, and Ch3z for taking the time to beta test the
map for me. You guys helped out quite a bit, and I really appreciate it!
