About

(Head hunters I am looking for work in the gaming industry (even if it is just as a janitor), I can relocate to any place that isnt biter cold, I will quickly learn to use any required programs, just as I taught myself how to use Ued, I am a highly motivated worker and skiled artist)

After much experimenting I proudly present a daytime outdoor map that doesnt feature lava, a barren blasted wasteland, or rows of stacked shipping cartons :D

Realizing UTs limitations in regard to rendering photo realistic landscapes, I have instead tried to emulate the scenery as is found in most Resource Gathering/Empire Building strategy games, this is also why I chose to make the skybox look as it does (not everyone will like it, but until Unreal2 if you want to run around wooded hillsides)

This level was designed to be played with real weapons mods so there are no weapons scattered about for pickup, use a mutator or arena for regular UT weapons (Capture the flag is about getting flags not running around looking for a more powerful weapon)

Sorry there are no roads between the farmhouses, the choice was between roads that looked nice or a few more bushes to hide behind, (besides roads dont effect UT game play while foliage plays a major tactical role)

There is support for bots, although a monster Lan party is where this map would really shine, if you have a slow system stay off the tops of the corner hills while looking diagonally across the map, you would just be sniper-bait anyways.

This level features my own special Sheet-Cube Tree design that I arrived at after much hard work and experimenting; the advantage of this design is it has volume with minimum polygons.

Feel free to use these trees in your own maps, just remember to mention me in the Readme file.
