Author's notes:

This map was built from scratch, specifically for the AusUT Mapping Contest.  The setting is inspired by a Montreal street corner (includes pot-hole).  The idea of shootable windows came from DM-Norwich, a great map.  Although it's a wide-open map, I tried to keep polys in view to 200-230 maximum.  Flag base interiors and alleys are extremely low polys. The map can handle 16 players, but I recommend 8-12. 

Look for the AusUT logo inside Arturo's.

Weapons: impact hammer, double enforcer, bio rifle, ripper, minigun, shock rifle, sniper rifle, flak, rocket launcher, redeemer.

Power-ups: damage amp, shield belt, jump boots, big keg of health, thigh pads

Playing tips: 

To shoot your opponent's flag base windows from the outside, you'll need a momentum weapon (bio rifle, ripper, shock rifle secondary fire, flak, rocket launcher).  From the inside, you can use any weapon to shoot out the windows.

There are a lot of potential sniping spots.  But since the buildings are so close together, you can take out enemy snipers with splash damage: bio goo, shock combo, flak, rockets, redeemer blast.

At the request of my beta testers, I added most of the coveted power-ups.  The trade-off is, they're a bit out of the way; can you afford the time to get them...?

The manhole covers are small, so be sure to stand on the center as you're going up.

Installation

Copy and paste the CTF-AusUT_Deagle.unr file into your "C:/Unreal Tournament/Maps" directory.
Copy and paste the a3text.utx file into your "C:/Unreal Tournament/Textures" directory.
All other textures should be included in your UT CD. (Same goes for the .umx file)
