Extended Description

--------------------

This is a big, dark styled map. It has no special theme but You might think it as some
sort of maining facility as the map has a lot of tunnels.

The map title, Aurinko, was chosen because it places the map earlier in the map list.
The word is finnish nad means the sun. However, there is no sun in this map.

Each base has four main entry points, Forest, Lake, Mine and City. Each of the routes have
unique look and feel on it so navigating there should not be difficult. All the routes
are interconnected from several points making the map more pleasant to play.
Around the center lake there are two forests, a bridge and a Pig house. All the routes
interconnect here.

The map is designed for strategic play. Playing solo will not give You the prize. This
is of course more obvious when playing against human players but the bit-brained
antagonists will put Your skill on hard test as well.

Do not play the map with fewer players than six. It may well be that You loose the
flag carrier just because You didn't find him.

I hope You enjoy the map and if it ever appears on some server, I would like to receive
a notice to join the fun !

Author's Notes

--------------

The map has some technical stuff.

There are two air-locks that use synchronized movers and warp zones. Their pathing
is fully functional.

The map has a geometric shape that usually makes a lot of BSP cuts. During gameplay
the node/poly ratio stays well below 1.5 peaking at 2.0 in very rare cases. The low
node count is a result of exessive use of isolation technique and zonig.

The poly count tops around 270 being normally well below 150.

The version 3 differs from version 2 only in that it has one invisibility. Having more
than one will crash the UT engine.
