Description             : this is an improvement of an original map by Chip 2000 and Ragan "Bone" Murphy ; a few weeks after having released my first map CTF-Metalstorm, I received a mail from a canadian lady who asked me if I'd accept to improve the bot pathing of one of her prefered map, CTF-Snowblind ; it was so nicely requested so that I agreed and began to work after having received the agreement of Bone ; when I told him that I had some ideas concerning the overall design of the map too, he asked me to rename the level in order to differenciate it from the original. Released on a P-II 300 Mhz 256 Mg de RAM about 8 Gg HD a Leadtek Winfast Geforce 256 32Mb and a standard Soundblaster, with Win2K Pro.

Release notes           : bots were particularly stupid so I had to learn them how to use multiple paths and the translocator to grab Keg'O and Invisibility as well as some Armors and Thigh pads ; I also put Defense and Ambush Points mixed with Distance View Triggers to make them defend and snipe correctly ; lifts and doors movers had to be fixed as well as the skybox and many BSP holes... I've aligned many textures and replaced some of them, lighting has been greatly improved (particularly the outdoor part and the lightboxes) as well as some architecture details concerning mainly the little houses ; I added industrial items to improve ambiance of the subterranean areas and some location strings for tactic maniacs ; finally, I put some sounds here and there to break the constant silence wich reigned until then ; all this has been done in keeping in mind that I had to respect the original map and so I couldn't make modifications as deeply as I wanted, the compromise seems good though... I didn't like particularly the "USA vs UK" theme that I found too contemporary for my taste but it was original so I kept the flag textures : all in all it was a good opportunity for me to learn more about Unreal Editing and to experiment various tips, 'hope you'll enjoy the result as well as I had pleasure to work on it ;)
