/ HOW TO MAKE IT Hros V2.0 ?       /

	This is the beta version of the mod, I decided to relase it because I didn't want to spend too much time making maps for my mod, and because my french english accent wouldn't be good enough for the voices. So I'd like YOU to help me.

A - General help
----------------

	At first, as usually, you can send me your comments (jmbel@club-internet.fr).
	I'd like to have your Boss health and health bonus settings depending on the weapons you use.

B - Voices
----------

	I'd like some voices for the messages that you can, for now, just see on your hud.
If you feel like having	:

	THE BADDIES...................Your name

at the end of the "movie" you'll play with this mod (well, ok, there is now ending credits, but, there might be, if you want...) just send me a mail (jmbel@club-internet.fr) to tell me what you can do. I'll send you everything you need.


C - Mapping
-----------

	If you've already played this mod, you should have seen that it's not at its best with classic maps. If you haven't played, you'll see it later.
	That's why I ask you to make great maps for this mod !
	Here are some suggestions, ideas, things to know...

	I - Inspiration
	---------------
		1) Of course, the cinema is the best inspiration for this mod. Why not recreate exactly a movie setting ?
		2) Here are some basic things you can make with this mod :

		With "kill guards" settings :
	* The boss in the last room
	* The boss behind, watching the scene before getting in
		With the "hiding boss" setting :
	* The boss appearing in some rooms on the way to the final room
	* The boss appearing at the beginning, to taunt the hero, and disappearing to go to the last room
		With none of these settings :
	* The boss running away (I don't know if it's possible to make an "escape" path for him, if not, he can be in a vehicle that is getting away or stg like that...)
	* The boss at the end of a long room full of ennemies.
		With the settings you want :
	* The hero is leaving an exploding building/ a prison, killing everybody who tries to let him inside and finally face the big boss before the exit door/on the parking

	II - Technically
	----------------

	*There are 4 teams, the red is the hero team, the blue the generic baddies team, the green the semi-bosses team, and the gold, the boss team.
	There is 1 bot in the gold team.
	1/5 of the remaining bots is on the green team.
	the remaining bots are on the blue team.

	*The boss will appear first to the normal PlayerStart (team 3) but if he's an hiding boss or if he uses his power to disappear, he'll appear on the next team playerstart (team 4 then 5 then 6...)
	Use this to make the boss reappear further when in hiding boss state but also to make him reappear anywhere while using his disappearence power (he can use it up to 5 times)

	* You can put playerstart for the blue team, so that when a blue guy has been killed 3 times, he respawns further in the level. These playerstart are those with 100 101 and 102 in the teamnumber... So, if a baddy has spawned his 3 times on the 1st playerstart with 1 as teamnumber, he'll then reappear 3 times on the playerstart with 100 as teamnumber then 3 times on the one with 101 as teamnumber and finally 3 times on the one with 102 as teamnumber.

	* I don't know if it's possible, but using the Assault way for making paths could be useful to make the guards retreat when the hero doesn't stop in a room full of enemies...

	* If you'd like me to add some features, just ask me, and I'll do what I can.

	III - About Gameplay
	--------------------

	1) Weapon placing
 Place the weapons gradually. At the beginning, the hero will fight with just his simple gun (I won't give names because it could be used with every weapon mod). The anonymus characters  may have more powerful weapon (works good with automatic weapons like UZIs). The Semi-Bosses could be equipped with better weapon (that hurt more, stg like shotgun in realistic mods or rocket launcher in regular UT) and for the boss put the heavy guns (in a place where only he could go, near his playerstart or stg. like that) why not a redeemer or stg. like that (I could go for the most "stg. like that" in a text file challenge !) after all, the hero has got his special powers !

This brings me to 
	2) Special Power
  Remember the hero special powers ! Eg. You can put long room through which he can herorun. You can put some traps that are too slow for him...

This brings me to
	3) Effects
	
	So, about effects : ABUSE of them. Traps, earthquakes, explosions. Just like all the special effects in the movies. Imagine the hero running through a building, with explosions everywhere, due to the battles and to explosives he puts everywhere and you'll see what I mean. (See the last episode of the excellent anime "Cowboy Bebop" : ('The Real Folk Blues') and you'll really see it. I tried to recreate this in my map)

	4) General ideas
	
	* Make your map for only one type (about "hiding boss", "kill guards" or none of them) you'll just need to precise it.
	* If you make it in a "kill guards" idea, put the boss so that the player won't shoot him unintentionally.
	* Put large rooms for the battles to take place, so that the bots could use their number and so that the player can kill them all in one rotating burst :-).
	* Don't put too complexes paths for the bots : the player mustn't have to search the 2 remaining baddies who are scattered in the whole map.
	* Remember it's just for fun, not especially for challenge !
	* Make rooms with the fusillade idea in mind.
	* Do your best !

Well, I think that's all I can recommand you.
You should know everything else better than me, or it's so obvious that I don't have to tell you.

	IV - When you're done
	     ----------------

	When you're done, just send me an e-mail (if you could do it before making a map, it could be useful) with the size of the file (I'm connected with a 56K RTC modem so don't send the file itself), if you want, an explanation of what it is and I'll see how to do depending on the number of maps there is, and the various hosting I can get for them. (If you've got a fast connection and are ready to receive every map and put them on a website, I'd be glad.)
